BioI've made it! I'm a new graduate student in the Steinhardt School of Education at New York University. In just 3 semesters I will have an M.A. in Piano Performance. That extra semester must be to figure out what to do next...
I'm also teaching piano lessons to non-music undergrads, which is great because I can tell 'em anything and it doesn't matter because they're science majors.
I have wanted to live in NYC my whole life, but I'm not ashamed of my Dirty South heritage.
Some other tidbits...
I've self-trained to become un-ticklish.
Yes, I've been in a mental hospital.
I didn't know how to blow my nose until freshman or sophomore year of college. Now, I consider myself quite fluent.
I seem to never have money, yet always be drunk.
I've intentionally given myself: pinkeye, mono, caterpillar stings.
I think I am more highly evolved than almost everyone, because I've never had wisdom teeth (they just don't even exist, according to my x-rays).
I have a limited arsenal of jokes, and always tell the same ones over and over and over again to the same people, therefore, I rely mainly on physical comedy to delight and amaze my audiences.
I hate most members of my family, although I used to have a crush on one of my cousins, but he sells crack now.
